We were approached by our clients to design and manufacture a bespoke transit frame for a Static Ring. The frame needed to be suitable for worldwide transportation while also providing greater mobility during installation on site.
To assist with positioning and installation, the four corners of the frame were specifically designed to accommodate wheeled dollies, allowing the Static Ring to be easily manoeuvred into position once on site.
Working from our detailed drawings, our structural engineer calculated that the frame was capable of safely supporting a load of up to 7 tonnes, providing a substantial safety margin above the weight of the Static Ring.
The finished frame provided a robust, transportable and practical solution, combining the strength required for international shipping with the mobility needed for efficient on-site installation.
