Since 1955, Wickhams Brown has designed and manufactured bespoke wooden cases and protective packaging from our workshop at Faygate, near Gatwick.

OUR STORY

A skilled team, a well-equipped workshop

Wickhams Brown was incorporated in 1955. Our offices and manufacturing units are at Faygate, close to Gatwick Airport well placed for UK and international freight.

We have a highly skilled team with deep knowledge of designing cases, crates and packaging. From our well-equipped workshop we manufacture cases in volume and design one-off builds to high specifications.

Every project starts with the equipment itself: its weight, fragility and route to market. Cases are engineered to protect it door to door — whether a single prototype or a multi-unit export programme.

SUSTAINABILITY

Responsibly sourced timber

All of our timber is sourced from Sweden and the Baltic countries — regions known for sustainable forestry and reforestation. Every piece carries recognised shipping and traceability marks back to forest and sawmill.

Our packing cases are stamped with Forestry Commission licence FC167 and manufactured in compliance with ISPM 15 for wood packaging materials in international trade.

From Faygate we design, manufacture and pack. The workshop supports both production runs and one-off high-spec cases with the same standards applied whether the job is a single instrument or heavy industrial plant.

Location near Gatwick supports efficient UK collection and international air and road links for export programmes.
